From News Center(Text &Picture by Gao Cuijin，Youth League Committee of LVTC ) From October 1st to October 3rd, 2021 China Liuzhou International Water Carnival and Water Recreation Games the first ”Oriental Dream Workshop”Carnival Theater Festival was held at the Oriental Dream Workshop in Liukong Cultural and Creative Park. Invited by the organizing committee, a total of 4 programs and more than 60 volunteers of LVTC participated in this event.

China Liuzhou International Water Carnival has been successfully held for ten times since it was started in 2011. With water as the medium, city as the body, and people put first, it has won the honor of “China’s Top Ten Brand Festivals”twice and has attracted the attentions of the domestic and foreign medias. The brand has also become a leisure and entertainment event focus of the general public and tourists during the National Day holidays. The “Oriental Dream Workshop”Carnival Theater Festival was the first activity set up at the Water Carnival, and it was also a newly created key cultural event brand of Liuzhou.

The Drama Carnival Youth Competition started on October 2nd . A total of 11 programs selected by Guangxi University of Arts, Liuzhou Vocational and Technical College, Guangxi University of Science and Technology and Liuzhou Institute of Technology participated in the competition. LVTC’s performances of the small chorus Dong Yin, psychodrama Searching, Broken Cocoon, and Strong Power; are performed as excellently as the undergraduate colleges，among which the program of the School of Trade and Tourism Management Strong Power  won the Most Popular Award, and the Dong Yin and Searching by the School of Art, and Breaking the Cocoon by the School of Finance and Logistics Management won the Excellent Works Award.

In addition, in order to enrich the cultural life of the students during the National Day holiday, to improve their artistic accomplishments, and to strengthen the aesthetic education, LVTC also organized 200 students to watch the competition on the premise of strictly meeting the requirements of epidemic prevention and control.

During the three days of the drama festival, LVTC‘s student volunteers assisted the organizer in completing ticket checking, audience guidance, order maintenance, props removal, and program reminders. The students voluntarily gave up their holiday breaks and actively participated in the voluntary service of the event, demonstrating their good comprehensive quality of the Double High Plan construction colleges and universities, and helping the 2021 China Liuzhou International Water Carnival and Water Recreation Games，the first “Oriental Dream Workshop” Carnival Theater Festival was successfully held, which was praised by the organizer and recognized by the citizens of Liuzhou.
