In order to implement the instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping, Liugong Machinery Co., Ltd. (LiuGong) and Liuzhou Vocational and Technical College (LVTC) reached an agreement on school-enterprise cooperation in overseas school running and held a signing ceremony. Attendees of the signing ceremony included Vice President Luo Guobing and Senior Directors Li Dongchun and Deng Tao of LiuGong, Secretary of the Party Committee of LVTC Liu Zilin, Vice President of LVTC Ju Hongxia, etc. The ceremony was also witnessed by Gou Yi, Deputy Director of Liuzhou Municipal Development and Reform Commission, and Liu Min, Deputy Director of Liuzhou Municipal Education Bureau.

At the symposium, Deng Tao, Senior Director of LiuGong, introduced the enterprise's 14th Five-Year Plan for international business development. Deng said that enhancing the after-market service capability was an important initiative for the enterprise after upgrading the global training center. Wei Linhua, Director of the Office of International Exchange of LVTC, introduced the mode and content of cooperation between LiuGong and LVTC in overseas school running. In the next five years, LVTC will deepen the cooperation with LiuGong and select overseas colleges and universities according to LiuGong's development layout around the world in target countries that Liuzhou chooses to enter, such as Thailand, Indonesia, and Russia, so as to jointly build "Overseas Subcenters of LiuGong-LVTC Global Customer Experience Center", which can provide training for LiuGong's overseas employees and distributors; also, "LiuGong-LVTC International Craftsman College" will be jointly built up to provide training for international students and provide talent support for LiuGong's global development.

Liu Zilin, Secretary of the Party Committee of LVTC, delivered a speech on behalf of LVTC, highly affirming the support given by LiuGong to LVTC during its years of operation. He specifically conveyed the important instruction made by Chen Baosheng, Minister of Education of the People's Republic of China, when he visited "LiuGong-LVTC Global Customer Experience Center" on March 28. Minister Chen Baosheng highly appreciated the cooperation mode between LiuGong and LVTC and highly affirmed LiuGong's active participation in school-enterprise cooperation and investment of a large amount of equipment in the LVTC.

As for the cooperation with LiuGong in overseas school running, Secretary Liu Zilin thought it was not only to open up the territory for the international school running of LVTC, but also to provide good services for the global development of the enterprise, and asked the relevant departments of LVTC to be resolute, act quickly, strive for a breakthrough and achieve fruitful results.

On behalf of LiuGong, Vice President Luo Guobing conveyed the important instruction of General Secretary Xi Jinping during his visit to LiuGong on April 26. He said that the General Secretary had put forward the requirements of high-quality development for LiuGong and for China's equipment manufacturing industry, and that General Secretary was very concerned about Liuzhou's vocational education. Luo Guobing said that this cooperation was a concrete measure to implement the important instruction of General Secretary. This school-enterprise cooperation to carry out overseas school running not only provides a strong driving force for LiuGong to achieve its international strategy and talent training of its dealers, but also provides a strong driving force for China's equipment manufacturing industry to go out. Meanwhile, it represents better launching and implementation of China's strategies from the going global of products to that of education and talent. Luo Guobing expressed his gratitude to LVTC for its support to the enterprise over the years. He stated that he would make every effort to put the contract plan drawn up by both sides into practice and meet the requirements of both sides. He looks forward to deeper cooperation.

Then, witnessed by heads from both sides, Senior Director of LiuGong Li Dongchun, and Vice President of LVTC Ju Hongxia, signed the contract on overseas cooperation in school running on behalf of both sides.

The signing was highly praised by both Liuzhou Municipal Development and Reform Commission and Liuzhou Municipal Education Bureau. Liu Min, Deputy Director of Liuzhou Municipal Education Bureau, believes that the international cooperation between LiuGong and LVTC was in line with the national policy and requirements of opening-up in education and was an important initiative to upgrade the internationalization of vocational education in Liuzhou, which responded to the objectives of the 14th Five-Year Plan of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and Liuzhou. Gou Yi, Deputy Director of Liuzhou Municipal Development and Reform Commission, said that for a long time, the CPC Liuzhou Municipal Committee and the People's Government of Liuzhou Municipality had put the development of vocational education in an important position matching the development of the industrial economy, and included the construction of a pilot city that features an integration of industry and education into the 14th Five-Year Plan of Liuzhou for economic and social development. It is believed that LiuGong and LVTC would be able to achieve good results by joining forces and working side by side.

It is understood that since the 1980s, LiuGong and LVTC have established a deep partnership, starting from helping LiuGong to carry out trial production. With joint efforts, they launched an "excavator class" and an "overseas commissioner class", supported LVTC to apply for the major of construction machinery application technology, included LiuGong's international training department in the LVTC's global corporate training network, and now, they deepen the partnership through overseas school running. Completing the transformation from an "excellent supplier" to a "strategic partner", LVTC has become closely related and mutually dependent with LiuGong. This signing ceremony also marks the renewed voyage of LiuGong and LVTC to respond to the call of opening-up in national education.
